Hank confronts a lounging Evan with a problem with HankMed’s books. Evan points out that the real concern should be Divya and Raj’s engagement. At Hill Manor, the site of Divya’s engagement party, proprietor Zoe Hill (Alexandra Holden) is having hallucinations and goes through a plate-glass window because of one. Divya and Raj show up for a tour of the place and don’t like it. Divya calls Hank when she sees a gash on Zoe’s leg. Zoe’s sister Amy (Samantha Mathis) is superstitious about changes to the house and thinks it is haunted.

The episode picks up where the last one left off, with Boris informing Hank that the Gardners, the family of the billionaire trustee who died in the first episode wants to revoke Hank’s medical license. When Hank and Boris shake hands, Boris can’t let go. Hank goes with Boris to his workplace, an international bank he owns. At the bank, Boris lets on that he has a degenerative disease that kills off people in their 40s, or roughly his age, and that he has arranged a meeting with the Gardners. At the meeting, Hank meets up with four of Boris’ lawyers, who offer a deal.

Hank goes to Tucker’s 17th birthday party, bringing a DVD of Top Gun wrapped in newspaper. The party was cancelled because Tucker’s deadbeat dad might show up, and Hank, Jill, and Libby are the only ones there. Surprisingly, Tucker’s dad does show up, with his new assistant Bridgette. His present to Tucker is a two week African safari. Suddenly, Bridgette passes out from a drug overdose. Hank takes her to Hamptons Heritage, where Charlie plays around with him. Hank goes to a fundraiser horseback ride, that Divya is competeing in, with Evan, resplendent in a ridiculous outfit. Evan passes out a lot of business cards and defends Divya’s honor against Dr. Madden, an emergency room doctor. Hank staffs the first aid tent at the event when Jill gets a call from Charlie. Hank has to fix Madden’s dislocated shoulder, and thinks that Dr. Madden has been drinking.

Evan tries to conduct a staff meeting, but Hank and Divya aren’t taking it seriously. Divya and Evan go to a tropical garden where they meet Rachel, an attractive model concerned about her new stockbroker husband Alan Ryders’ allergies. Hank and Jill have an awkward conversation. Hank deals with Zach Kingsley, an artist with heart problems. Despite Hank’s advice, Kingsley talks him into being his doctor and coming to his studio. Kingsley claims that the studio and organic living are helping him more than hospital food. Jill shows up at Hank’s house to argue about Kingsley.

The show opens with Hank giving Boris a physical on his birthday, then goes to the beach with Evan, Jill and Jill’s friend Katie, who is receiving a fellowship financed by Boris.
